LGBT Representation in American Animated Entertainment

Are LGBT characters represented in media proportionately to the existence of LGBT people in the real world? Through use of comparative statistics, this study aims to bring to light the accuracy of LGBT representation in animated media as it compares to the real-world existence of LGBT individuals.
